I enjoy food here weekly, driving from the other side of town, well worth it though! Whether it be their fish, sausages or my go to chips and spicy curry sauce, its always excellent!! Lovely welcoming couple run the place. Very fair pricings. If you haven't tried this place you are missing out. Get yourself to The Friendly Fish Bar!!!

They are friendly by name and friendly by nature. The chips were decent and the fish was fantastic. They had such a good flavour. The fish was cooked perfectly and the batter had a crunchy top. The price was good too - just under a tenner. Will definitely be going there again.

Went to London for the first time last Christmas and I'd say this is the best fish/chips I had in London. The takeaway is very fast and efficient, cheap, the food was hot, fresh, and crispy. Definitely recommend!

After having walked past this place on countless occasions, I finally decided it was time for me to take a gander and enquire into the cute welcoming local business. It is safe to say my bowels were unprepared for the imminent glory. Upon entrance the customer is astounded by the refreshing hygienic standards and a cool airy atmosphere. Situated in the shade, the store offers the public an oriental themed retreat. The workers are truly delightful, completing the scene with stunningly unparalleled friendly service. These people care. The fish (I had Cod) is thoroughly fluffy and caressed in a golden batter, cooked to utmost perfection. My visit would undoubtedly be considered incomplete had I not gone forth and eaten some chips and mushy peas too. I did just that. The chips were abundant. Cooked in a sustainable oil, void of pesky hydrogenated intruders they emerge wholesome - firm yet soft. The portion of mushy peas, albeit modest in size were in flavour, satisfying on a deeply personal level. There is really no other choice. The Friendly Fish Bar is the only fish bar Luton needs.
